Banana is love. Banana is life.
I have a lot of bananas.
And a lot of love to give.
Who doesn’t love banana bread?
Well my friends sure do… Or at least they don’t have an option.
They’re having this whether they like it or not.
People quite often ask me if being vegan is hard/expensive.
It’s not when google is your best friend! Besides, when has anything that’s easy ever been truly fulfilling in life?
My friend Sophie couldn’t see a life without meat before she met me, and now she’s breezing through a week of veganism for a sustainability assignment.
Freya is trying vegetarianism as a part of the new beginning in her beautiful life in Florida.
Sheena knows what to look out for when buying cruelty-free treats.
Claire and Alisha, my flatmates, pretty much eat vegan at home.
And my beautiful friend Genevieve is glowing on a High Carb Vegan lifestyle. Check out her insta – @genevievevaa
It’s not necessarily getting others to be 100% vegan that resonates with me. It’s more the concept that they’re more aware of the impact they personally have on the environment, and the hurt they can reduce in the world.
That’s what’s so amazing about seeing the change in my close friend circle.
Let’s be honest, it’s pretty hard to stay ignorant when we have a limitless wealth of knowledge at our fingertips. You can find out whatever you want. If you believe something, research it. If it’s not how you like it, be the change you want to see in the world.
I’m in a really happy place at the moment 🙂 It’s hard not to smile when you’re surrounded by amazing people. Also, I fly to Florida in less than 48 hours to see one of my best friends! Absolutely chuffed.
Nice having this wee chat with ya! I hope you’re having a fantastic day, and enjoy the Simple Banana Bread recipe I found from BBC Good Food!
